Pack Of 15 Solid artemisia moxa (mugwort)
Multireflex moxa sticks are made from aromatic plants and artemisia [Artemisia vulgaris], a perennial herb harvested at the summer solstice when it concentrates its vital energy.
Also known as St. John’s herb or «fire herb,» this plant has been used for millennia for its warming and tonifying properties.
The Japanese word moguza («prolonged fire») is the origin of the term moxa.
Moxibustion, listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2010, is a centuries-old practice widely used across Asia. Our sticks are 15 mm in diameter, dense, firm, and precise — very different from paper moxa rolls that produce thick smoke and leave a lot of ash.
Designed especially for Dien Chan, they allow precise stimulation of reflex zones and points·bqc with clean, gentle, almost smoke-free heat.
The pointed combustion ensures a stable and accurate glow, reaching temperatures of up to 700°C. -
Therapeutic functions
While there are many moxibustion techniques in Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Dien Chan the skin should never be overheated.
How to use:
Hold the stick near the reflex area linked to the painful zone to stimulate self-regulation.
Multireflex moxa produces intense but controlled heat that mobilizes Qi through a constant three-step sweeping motion, without ever burning the skin.Moxa treatments are yang in nature: to get the best results, perform slow, steady sweeps near the treatment area, never stopping. Always keep a guiding finger close to control distance and heat.
For a stronger yang effect, moxa becomes essential for activating certain points·bqc in a formula.Warning: avoid excessive use; heat may irritate the skin.
Our high-quality moxa burns cleanly, produces minimal ash, and releases a soft, soothing fragrance.— For body use:
To warm a sensitive point, make short back-and-forth motions without direct contact.
Visualize the heat as an energy beam penetrating the point, repeat three times, and then close the point with a finger for 10 seconds after each application.Common indications:
— Ear infections
— Throat inflammations
— General muscle pain
— Stiff or cold neck
— Dull joint pain
— Sinusitis
— Bruises
… and many more.— For facial use:
Thanks to its rigidity, multireflex moxa allows stimulation of certain points·bqc or living points➀.
⚠️ Caution: never perform moxibustion on the face without proper training, as the skin is very thin and sensitive.
In Dien Chan, moxa is used as a precise thermal stimulator: sweep three times above the point for targeted, effective stimulation.① points·bqc are fixed on the Dien Chan map, while living points are detected based on reflex sensitivity using the Detector nº101 or nº103.② Certified courses are available in the agenda and via the list of trainers on www.DienChan.pro. -
Enhance your treatment
1 | Hold the stick between your thumb and index finger, lightly pressing your pinky on the client’s skin to maintain about 1 cm distance.
2 | Move the moxa very slowly, observing reactions: some points give a stronger heat sensation. If it becomes too intense, lift the stick for a few seconds, then resume.› Do not use moxa more than twice a day to avoid burns.
Moxibustion follows acupuncture principles: certain sensitive skin points reveal organ imbalances.
Dien Chan reflex diagrams then allow precise and safe action on the corresponding anatomy. -
Chan❜beauté secret
In Chan❜beauté, moxa is not used: direct heat is replaced with gentle stimulation suitable for aesthetic treatments.
